This first image was yesterdays amazing sun set. I wish I had a way to capture exactly what I saw and the feeling it gave me. It was very cool.

Recently my iPhone took a bath with me and the camera function didn't work. This was bad. I thought all was lost! Ha! Well, for whatever reason it started working again and I'm high on life. Ha!

What have I been up to Lately?

Well, I've been shooting like crazy as of late. Hey, I'm not complaining! I love what I do and don't wish to do anything else.

I really like snow but not a fan of ice.

Having a Little Fun

I shot some family pictures the other day and I really like this photo because the expression a wonderful. Ha!

We were headed to the truck and this caught my eye. It has no
significants to any story other then I just wanted to take a picture
of something.

Family Shoots

I think I can get used to this! I had a bunch of fun today making pictures with these twin babies. Awww, too cute!



The lighting set up was pretty easy.
2 lights shot into an x pattern at the back drop which was a clamped to the fireplace mantel.

I had one main light boomed over my head shooting into a silver umbrella. I needed a very broad light source to encompass the entire scene.

LA Boxing Photo shoot

Big thanks to LA boxing for letting us come in after hours and use their Gym for some a shoot.

Ryan is an old buddy of mine from when we were growing up. He recently got out of the Military and is training for an upcoming fight. Very cool.

Here are just a few shots from tonight.

Most of my pictures are shot from the drivers seat.

I slowly pull up to my unsuspecting target, slow my breathing, say a
little prayer for good shooting, place my finger on the trigger, take
it off and wipe the sweat from my forehead, wipe it on my sleeve, put
my finger back on the release and slowly and smoothly free the shot.

Okay, maybe it's not that in depth all the time, but you can imagine
if it was right?

When I'm walking around no matter where I'm going I'm always looking
for something to take a picture of. It's nice to shoot for yourself. I
find it refreshing and it renews my creativity having to look at some
average "thing" and create a photograph. Its fun.

iPhone. Trip to Kum and Go

Taking time to feed my addiction to DP I'd been in the house all day working on OKstrobist workshop stuff. Time to take a break and run up to Kum and Go!

Screech in head to get my drink.

I'm very tempted to eat one of these "well done" over processed beef tubes. But, my addiction doesn't bleed over to feeling worse after eating one of these. Bla!

I head to the counter and this guy sprints to get in front of me. Funny thing is I've already put my drink down. Yeah, that's mine. BUT, I'm not in any hurry and he obviously is. "Go right ahead, sir." :)

Okay, maybe not the most amazing thing to write about, but it sure made my trip much more exciting.

I also found this church steeple that caught my eye.

Keepin it Sharp

Sitting at home just keeping my skills sharp. OKstrobist group is usually on my mind and nothing was different tonight. Here's a graphic piece I was working on for the groups header.
